HubQuery is building the operating system for real estate and property services across emerging markets — from discovery and transactions to rentals, valuations, and professional tools. HubBusiness is our internal and corporate platform: employee intranet, enterprise admin, ATS, and the careers experience you are reading now.
We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to own meaningful product surfaces end-to-end in our TypeScript monorepo. You will ship features that candidates, employees, agents, and platform operators use every day — with the bar set for production quality, accessibility, security, and maintainability.

What you will do
- Design and implement full-stack features in Next.js (App Router), React, and TypeScript across apps/web, apps/business, and shared packages.
- Model data with Prisma and PostgreSQL; write safe migrations and keep multi-app schema parity in a monorepo.
- Build polished, accessible UI with our design system (Tailwind, shared UI primitives, i18n) — loading, error, and empty states included.
- Integrate auth (Clerk), payments, storage, email, and third-party APIs with clear validation and observability.
- Partner with product and design on careers/ATS flows, employee portal modules, and marketplace experiences.
- Improve developer experience: typecheck/lint/build pipelines, CI checks, and documentation that keeps the repo merge-ready.
- Participate in code review, mentor engineers, and help shape engineering standards.
What we're looking for
Required
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial work in production web applications.
- Strong TypeScript and React skills; comfortable with server components, server actions, and modern Next.js patterns.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful or RPC-style APIs; solid understanding of HTTP, caching, and security basics.
- Proficiency with SQL and relational data modeling (PostgreSQL preferred); familiarity with ORMs such as Prisma.
- Track record of shipping user-facing features with attention to UX, performance, and accessibility.
- Clear written communication and ability to break down ambiguous problems into incremental, reviewable changes.
- Comfort working in a monorepo with multiple deployable apps and shared libraries.
Strongly preferred
- Experience with multi-tenant or multi-surface products (marketing site + authenticated app + admin).
- Background in marketplaces, proptech, fintech, or HR/recruiting workflows.
- Hands-on DevOps familiarity (e.g. DigitalOcean, Docker, CI/CD, environment parity across staging and production).
- Contributions to design systems, component libraries, or internal platform tooling.
- Experience localizing products (i18n catalogs, locale-aware content, RTL or multi-market SEO).

- Auth & identity: Clerk (candidates, employees, platform admins)
- Mobile: React Native / Expo apps in the monorepo (mobile parity for shared contracts)
- Tooling: npm workspaces, ESLint, Vitest/Playwright, GitHub Actions, pre-commit and deploy guards
- Infrastructure: DigitalOcean App Platform, pre-built artifacts, object storage for uploads
You do not need to know everything on day one
We value engineers who learn the codebase quickly, ask good questions, and improve systems they touch. Domain knowledge in real estate is helpful but not required.

Interview process

- Team interview (45 min) — collaboration, communication, product sense
- Final conversation with leadership (30 min) — vision, ways of working, offer details
